Elite Ladies Club, USA supports mothers at Mamprobi Polyclinic

Accra, May 10, GNA – As part of activities to mark the Mother’s Day celebration, Elite Ladies Club, USA has supported 20 mothers at the Mamprobi Polyclinic who owe medical bills and provided them with parcels to take care of their newborns.

Elite Ladies Club is a non-governmental organization that connects women to women in North America and Ghana. It seeks to strengthen unity through donations, community service among others.

The parcel contains an African print, bleach, sanitizers, and diapers.

Mrs.Penelope Tetteh, the Convener of the Club, said the support was to empower the mothers, bring hope and happiness to them and their newborn babies.

She wished all mothers a happy Mother’s Day and urged them to continue with their good work.

Mrs.Patricia Kyei, the Principal Nursing Officer in charge of Clinical, Mamprobi Polyclinic, on behalf of Management and the mothers expressed appreciation to the Ladies Club for the gesture.

She said even though the gesture was unexpected they were grateful and prayed God to grant members of the club more money to be able to provide for other women who are in need.
